instrumental and choral music from the rich tradition of
Western Liturgy and inspired classical music
In a suitable visual and acoustic environment.

The Series' expenses and restoration of the
Historic Matthias Schwab Organ
Are funded exclusively by charitable
donations and facilitated by the
efforts of volunteers.

Your generous financial support is welcome to aid in the
continuance of the Cathedral Concert Series and
Restoration of the Historic Matthias Schwab Organ (1859).


Suggested donation is $10.00 per adult.

The Choral Department of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) celebrates CCM's 150th Anniversary with festival repertoire featuring Norman Dello Joio's Proud Music of the Storm for mixed chorus, organ and brass. This piece was commissioned in 1967 by Mr. and Mrs. J. Ralph Corbett to celebrate CCM's 100th Anniversary and the dedication of CCM's Corbett Auditorium.

"The CU Men’s Choir will be offering a program centered on the theme of the life of Christ.

The opening set of music will focus on prayer, preparing the listener to enter into a time of worship and meditation.

The next set will emphasize the birth of Jesus.

Following that will be works set to texts on the words of Christ,
leading to his crucifixion.

The final music will focus on carrying the light of Christ into the world.
